Haven of Peace Academy (HOPAC) is currently inviting applications for vacancies of competent, experienced, and qualified 5 teachers.The following positions are open for the school year 2024/2025 starting August 2024
- Primary / Whole School
- Physical Education Teacher
- Sports Coordinator
- Bible Teacher
- Teacher Assistant
HOPAC follows the Cambridge curriculum and is an ACSI/MSA accredited school.
HOPAC-Haven of Peace Academy was established in 1994 and in June 2024 it will be celebrating its 30th Anniversary. The school will be celebrating this milestone to recognize the founding families, alumni and every partner who contributed to the success of the school.
In these 30 years, the school has been growing so fast and has had great accomplishments, which we would like to recognize and appreciate everyone who has been a part of it.
In commemoration of this milestone, the school will have a series of events which will be finalized by a gala dinner in which invitations will be shared to alumni, both students and teachers, as well as current parents and staff. Our school is a diverse environment with families from over 30 nationalities, working in different sectors; private and public sector.
Our goal is to host a gala dinner that will serve the caliber of families present at the school. At the dinner the school plans to have different activities from giving recognition prizes, speeches from students, selling of merchandise, a silent auction, and a few performances.
The silent auction will raise funds for school projects: (1) a Service Learning student project looking at sustainable options for alternative energy and (2) teacher housing to support recruitment and retention. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Teaching staff
- Bachelor’s degree in education/teaching or PGDE
- Three years teaching experience
- Experience with Cambridge International curriculum preferred
- Minimum of three years teaching experience, preferably in a multicultural setting
- Fluent in English, the medium of instruction
- Committed Christian
Position: Procurement Officer
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, or preferably in relevant field
- Training or Certification in relevant field
- Solutions Experts or Multimedia Systems Technician
- Committed Christian, actively living for God and involved in a local church.
- Minimum three years related experience in the essential functions of the relative field
- The ideal candidate has to be self-motivated, a team player, adaptable, and willing to learn with experience working in multicultural, international settings, and fluent in English.
Information Technology Technician
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or preferably in relevant field
- Training or Certification in relevant field
- Solutions Experts or Multimedia Systems Technician
- Committed Christian,actively living for God and involved in a local church.
