About MDH
MDH collaborates with local and international partners, including the Ministry of Health (MOH), President’s Office Regional Authorities and Local Government (PORALG), donor agencies, academic institutions, civil society, and community-based organizations.
The organization is currently implementing the Laboratory for Health project (Lab4Health), a 5-year initiative (October 2023 – September 2028) aimed at strengthening the quality, accessibility, and sustainability of the national health laboratory system in Tanzania. This project is funded by the U.S. Government’s President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC-Tanzania).
