- Experienced Human Resource Business Partner
Established in 1994, Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation Tanzania (CCBRT) is a locally registered non-governmental organization (NGO) providing specialized healthcare services in Dar es Salaam and Moshi, Tanzania. From its inception as a provider of community-based rehabilitation, CCBRT has become the largest provider of disability and rehabilitative services in the country.
In 2022 CCBRT opened its Maternal and Newborn Wing which was purposely built to add capacity in Dar es Salaam, to overcome major barriers to affordability and accessibility of quality health services. The hospital particularly aims to cater to vulnerable groups of women.
This vulnerable clientele will include former obstetric fistula patients, disabled women and referred clientele from the Regional Referral Hospitals based upon agreed-upon criteria and understanding of working with the Regional Medical Office. The expectation is that CCBRT will fundraise to provide services to this clientele.
